TripIt instantly organises your travel plans by simply forwarding your confirmation emails to it. TripIt will create itinerary, detailing your flights, hotels and other transport. It can even import plans from Gmail, Outlook and other apps. TripIt is loved by the frequent flyer community of Australia.

There are a stack of airline apps, however, many of them lack smooth functionality and a sharp user experience. Qantas has overhauled their mobile app this year and has received outstanding praise for it. You can clearly see upcoming flights, receive notifications, book flights and hotels and even see a detailed log of your QFF points. Download Free

Squirrel is a brilliant new bucket list app – packed with great budgeting and money features. You can discover and build your goals, and then plan and save for them. It’s a great app for discovering who’s around you when abroad, or just to browse tips and recommendations. Think of it as a collaborative travel guide community.
