One of my favourite luxury airlines Etihad has launched their 2017 early bird sale, with some incredible destinations to fly to. Usually airlines run these types of sales with cheap destinations and restricted fly durations, but Etihad has done the opposite. London, Dublin, Paris, Rome and Mardi – are just some of the quality destinations on sale.

To get these fares you simply need to book here by the 12th of December, subject to terms and availability of course. Our favourite thing about this offer is the flexibility Etihad is giving you for travel dates. The sale travel period is between the 1st of February 2017 and the 30th of September 2017. This gives you 3 school holiday periods to choose from if you’re taking the kids along.

There’s some great deals all round. Some of our favourite include:
Brisbane to Venice return from $1439
Melbourne to Athens return from $1399
Sydney to Paris return from $1426

If you are looking for a good connecting city to Europe or the US we recommend flying to Abu Dhabi for around the $1600 price point from Melbourne or Sydney. From Brisbane it’s a little higher from $1767 to be exact. As the map below shows, you can book a second return flight from Abu Dhabi to just about anywhere!

Want to hit up Europe? If you live in Sydney you can fly to Milan, Athens or Venice for under $1500 return. That’s a great snatch for the quality you get flying Etihad.

Etihad is a beautiful award winning airline. The quality of their economy and business product is at a high standard, so you can rest assured your journey will be comfortable no matter where you sit. These prices are quite cheap considering they are all long haul and premium destinations around the world. What I love about Etihad is they have a great lineup of destinations, plus you won’t get shocked with a stop over in some weird city (like a Kuala Lumpur nightmare!).

Etihad also have a great rewards program that it’s quite unique to others with its own 32 airline partners with individual conversion rates for points transfers. If you’re a Virgin flyer you can use Etihad Gust Miles for Australia redemptions at pretty good rates. If you want to learn more about Etihad Guest program check out this PointHacks guide

Terms & Conditions? Two main things to know…
– These fares are for booking until December 12th
– Subject to availability, black out dates or weekend surcharges that may apple
